About 40 men and women veterans of all ages and abilities will come together on Wednesday, June 16 for a much-anticipated
day of canoeing and kayaking on the Charles River. This event is run by the VA Hospital, which has asked we could make
bag lunches for the vets, serve them during the outing and visit with the vets while they eat.
The veterans really enjoy this special day! Here's how you can help:
1)
From 9:00 am - 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 16, help make the lunches at Barb St. John's home
2) From 11:30 am - 1:30 pm on Wednesday,
June 16, drive to a Newton park on the banks of the Charles to help Barb serve the lunches and visit with the veterans.
