  • GFWC leadership Education and Development Seminar (LEADS) a program for grassroots members who exhibit the potential and desire to assume leadership positions in GFWC beyond their club.
  • Each state Federation selects one LEADS attendee annually to attend the Seminar held in conjunction with the GFWC annual International Convention.
  • Club, district and state level officers are encouraged to identify potential participants and follow state federation selection procedures.   
  • Participation in LEADS helps members gain-the capabilities and confidence to serve GFWC with distinction
  • Building a foundation of qualified, committed leaders for the future.
  • GFWC MENTORS: active GFWC members with experience, special training and a passion for membership-related issues available to advise, counsel, assist-and encourage members who are dealing with difficult situations within their club, district or state.
  • GFWC Mentors provide perspective and objectivity to sensitive situations that require an extra measure of on-going, personal care and concern.
  • Members can request the services of a Mentor from the Director of Membership at GFWC Headquarters, who will assign one Mentor to the case.
  • All information is - strictly confidential.
  • Mentors work with members for as long as necessary to achieve a mutually acceptable resolution. Their work helps to ensure a healthy future for GFWC.
