Reporting
2010-2012
Administration
The
General Federation of Women's Clubs encourages all clubs to report
their time, effort, and funds
donated annually. In this
section you will find the current 2010-2012 Administration Reporting
form, which
has changed from previous Administrations, so it
always a good idea to pull the one from. the current Club Manual
or download it.from the website, www.GFWC.org/Membership.
The Club Manual speaks to reporting
at the club level. State officials seeking reporting guidelines should
contact their state official.
National officials seeking
reporting guidelines should contact GFWC Headquarters.

You
will notice a few advancements on the Reporting Form:
Same
- Cross-reporting
is prohibited; the individual responsible for reporting should use
her/his best judgment when recording the information
- We encourage
all funds included in the Reporting Form to pass through the Club's
treasury.
- The hours
and efforts of any member who received monetary compensation should not
be included in GFWC Reports.
Advantages
- The
Reporting Form asks for the number of members in your club/district/or
state federation
- A legend on
the first page, which defines
each column
- A column for
"In-Kind Donations," please check
the values you place in this column against the list of
"in-kind" values in the Club Manual found here, www.GFWC.org/Membership.
- The Special
Projects, the Juniors
Special Project: Advocates for Children and GFWC's Signature Projects:
Domestic Violence Awareness, have been moved to the beginning of the
form
- Each
Community Service Program will contain space for
clubs to report on projects that are Collaboration projects
(i.e., projects developed by our clubs, or local partnerships) and
space to report on projects that are Partnership projects
(i.e., were projects that were developed on the national
level with national partners and implemented in the local club's
community).
- The
Reporting Form concludes with GFWC's
Advancement Section.
- The
Fundraising line should total ALL
funds raised by the club throughout the year. This includes the
dollars donated in the Special Projects, Community Service Programs,
Advancement Areas, and any other funds raised by the club.
Reporting
Log
2010-2012 Administration
The
General
Federation of Women's Clubs encourages all clubs to report their time,
effort, and funds
donated annually. We continually strive to
improve the reporting process. We have created a Reporting
Log,
available for download as part of your Club Manual from,
www.GFWC.org/Membership. Clubs can
download the spreadsheet
and fill it out each time they complete a project or as they complete
projects.
for the Reporting Log.
This Reporting
Log allows the club to
track all
events throughout the year. The features of the Reporting Log are
as follows:
- There is a
spreadsheet for each Advancement
Area, Community Service Program, and Special Project in the
log. Use of the multiple spreadsheets is optional. Feel free to track
all numbers on one page, or to not use the log at all.
- Each
page in the document contains an example of how to record the
information. Please remember, to delete the
example when using the spreadsheet or the example will be included in
the information about your club's activities.
- The
information in each is column is automatically added for you.
- The
Fundraising line should total ALL funds raised by the club throughout
the year. This includes the dollars donated in the Special
Projects, Community Service Programs, Advancement Areas, and any
other funds raised by the club.
