GFWC MA Director of Junior Clubs Special Projects: ► Shot@Life ~ They educate to raise awareness about global vaccine inequities, they advocate to ensure strong US government investment in global immunization programs, and they partner to mobilize further support and private resources for global immunization work of UN partners. Since 2012 they have provided 120+ million vaccines provided to children, they have secured $5.76 billion by US government in global vaccine programs, and 4,000+ Americans have been trained to become global vaccine advocates. ► Caring For Children ~ The Frank and Rosemary Iovieno Caring for Children Foundation (“Caring for Children”) supports families with children suffering from life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses, such as HIV/AIDS or sickle-cell anemia. Caring for Children provides for the children’s basic needs, e.g., clothes, food, housing needs, etc., and funding educational and enrichment opportunities. They work with the following social work organizations to coordinate support during the holidays and throughout the year.
