The Executive Committee is composed of Massachusetts Officers and the Director of Junior Clubs.
The Junior Membership Officers are the Director of Junior Clubs, Assistant Director of Junior Clubs, Junior Membership Secretary and Junior Membership Treasurer. The Board of Directors is composed of the Executive Committee, all Standing Committee Chairmen, Chairmen of all GFWC Programs, Advancement Areas, Awards and Contests; and all other appointments listed in GFWC Massachusetts Standing Rules. The Junior Membership Executive Board is composed of the Junior Membership Officers, Nominating Committee members, Standing Committee Chairmen, Counselor to Junior Membership, Special Committee Chairmen and all other appointments listed in Junior Membership Standing Rules. The Organizational Chart shows the current structure of our organization and the relationships and relative ranks of positions and jobs. Board of Director meetings are held at GFWC Massachusetts Headquarters in Sudbury, MA. Click here for directions. The GFWC Massachusetts History dates back to 1893 starting with 23 clubs and Julia Ward Howe as the first President. Our members continue volunteering today with accomplishments that benefit our state, nationally and internationally.
