► GFWC Massachusetts Membership Brochure is a resource for all your members and can used be a recruitment tool.

                      Taking Care of Business 
 As Club President you are expected to coordinate various state requirements for your club such as checking the Federation Calendar for conflicting club event dates,    completing a yearly Statistical Form and project reports, filing your IRS 990 tax form, and completing your club Manual sheet.

      Hands on Leadership in Your State Federation 
Being present at state events is the best way to ensure your club:
►  Gets the important information you bring back, they deserve this as GFWC members.
► Is represented by you, the club delegate, voting on resolutions and bylaws that affect your members.
► Learns about many important initiatives members can support.
► Feels connected and important in their role as a GFWC clubmember.

► Familiarize yourself with the National organization as presented at www.gfwc.org 
► Find the GFWC Club Manual online through the Membership Portal. Download and share project ideas from GFWC Program Chairmen and Affiliates.

Other things to Know

► ​Each Massachusetts club is entitled to one vote for every 10 members in the club.  Voting occurs for Officers at the Annual Convention in the even calendar year.  Voting may also occur at Meetings/Convention for Resolutions and Bylaws. When completing registration forms, President's designate which attending members are to be the voting delegates for their club.  
​NOTE: No delegate or credential card is required when submitting registrations. 
► President Pins: GFWC has a club President pin for sale @ $10.00 per pin. They are available at the GFWC Marketplace www.GFWC.org.  Clubs generally arrange to purchase a pin in advance so that the official pin can be presented to the incoming president at the time of installation.
► Membership pins: with the GFWC emblem are available for $5.00 by using the GFWC Marketplace at https://www.gfwc.org/membership/marketplace/.
​► GFWC Massachusetts: Other federation items may also be available.  For information contact the Fundraising Chairman.
